Athens - The Athenian Riviera - Mykonos - Santorini​

From sailing jaw-dropping coastlines to wandering ancient cities, I will personally accompany you on this guided and exclusive excursion through Greece. I will be taking you to some of my favorite spots, from glamorous beach clubs and charming fishing villages to historical sites, shopping and unique local experiences.
You will of course be indulging in some of the best local cuisine Greece has to offer, from cliff-side restaurants to beach-side tavernas and open-air markets. If you want to experience Greece like a local, with access to experiences only available to Euro Trotter, then get ready to see and taste Greece unlike any other vacation experience.
Your trip begins in...
Athens
If you have ever heard someone say "Athens...get in, get out, and get to the islands"...then they don't know Athens. Unlike other tours that spend only one day in this magical, ancient and delicious city, you will be spending four.
Day 2: You'll be staying right in the heart of the historic Plaka district, Athen's oldest neighborhood, lined with cobblestone streets, boutique shops and tavernas. Rest up or explore at leisure. In the evening, we'll gather for a welcome dinner at a local taverna for traditional Greek dishes, live music and dancing.

Day 3: Today you're "tasting" Athens, from street food to Michelin. You'll head out with me on an incredible food tour of the city, led by a local and friend of mine. During the tour, we'll wander the streets of the famous Athens Central Market, tasting everything from Greek coffee heated in sand to sampling olives, barrel aged feta, meats, wine and honey...oh, and roast lamb, Greece's National dish.

Day 4: We'll start the morning with a visit to the Acropolis where you can marvel at the incredible history, architecture and views of the ancient Parthenon. Afterwards, we'll head back down to the Plaka for shopping, street food and cocktails - all at our leisure. For the evening, it's dinner on the water at the most chic restaurant on the Athenian Riviera where you will enjoy everything from the freshest catch to inventive dishes with local, seasonal ingredients...oh, did I forget to mention the golden sunset over dinner?
For dinner, you'll have one of the best views and dining experiences in Athens. I will be taking you to a Michelin starred restaurant accessed by cable car at the top of Mount Lycabettus, the tallest hill in Athens, watching the sunset with panoramic views of the entire city.

Day 5: On your last day in Athens, I'll take you out of the city and down the Athenian Riviera to Cape Sounion in Attica, the southernmost tip of the Athenian Peninsula, to visit the Temple of Poseidon, followed by an afternoon of lunch and beach at The Four Seasons Astir Beach for a visit to the most glamorous beach club on the Athenian Riviera, Astir Beach, followed by dinner and a mythical fire and dance show "on the beach".

Set Sail for...
Mykonos
From Athens, you'll set sail for Mykonos, "The Island of the Winds", for three incredible days exploring one of the most beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea. But isn't this the party island? So they say...what I found and what you will see, are rolling hills dotted with white-washed stone homes set against crashing waves and purple sunsets. And Mykonos Town, also known as "Little Venice", is just that...Greece's version of Venice Italy.

Day 6: You'll be staying at a boutique hotel centrally located in the heart of all the action in Mykonos Town. Explore town with me or at leisure, and then we're heading to the other side of the island (Agios Sostis) for the most intimate dinner under an olive tree in a secret taverna that sits on the edge of the sea with no electricity and some of the most authentic and delicious Greek food you will eat. No reservations are accepted, so we're going early and while we wait for our table by the sea, all the free wine you can drink (compliments of the taverna). Oh, and we'll follow that with a sunset swim in Lover's Beach, a private cove right below the restaurant, so bring your suit and towel or sit on the beach and watch the sunset.

Day 7: We'll spend the day wandering the twist and turns of the cobblestone streets in Little Venice for the best boutique shopping in all of Greece, from Mykonos fashion and jewelry to ceramics and textiles. After that, we'll check out the famous windmills and then stop for a light bite and some cocktails on the water's edge before dinner.

Enjoy the evening and dinner on your own or join me at one of my favorite restaurants in Mykonos Town, followed by music, dancing and flaming cocktails at my favorite lounge on the island! And while all this is happening, you're watching the sun set and waves crash literally feet away from where you're standing (or dancing!).

Day 8: No trip to Mykonos would be complete without checking out Greece's most famous "party" beach. But don't worry, it's actually pretty tame! We're going to the world famous Tropicana Beach Club at Paradise Beach for the ultimate Mykonos beach experience...think amazing food, really good music, chic cabanas and calm waters. If you prefer a bit more adventure, the day is yours, suggestion, take a day trip to nearby Delos (30 minute ferry ride), the birthplace of Apollo and former political and religious center of the Cyclades Islands.

For dinner, the evening is yours, or join me back in Mykonos town for one last stroll through Little Venice, with dinner on the water and of course, drinks, dancing and music in town.
Set Sail for...
santorini
From Mykonos, you'll set sail for Santorini, "the wine island", for three magical days exploring, sipping and savoring this jaw-dropping volcanic island.
Day 9: During your time on the island, you'll see the famed towns of Fira and Oia, whitewashed villages that cling to rocky cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater), overlooking the sea and small islands to the west. Oh yeah, and this is where you'll be staying, in a cave hotel on the cliffs of Oia, with a stone bed, private balcony and an unbelievable view of the caldera and deep blue sea.

We'll spend the day exploring Oia for the perfect day of shopping and sightseeing, and of course, a stop to take that must-have selfie by the islands' famous blue domed cathedrals. For the evening, we'll head to the village of Fira for cocktails and dinner, and this place takes drinks with a view to a whole new level, welcome to my favorite bar in the world. Enjoy inventive cocktails on the edge of the cliff while watching the sunset over the caldera (Santorini's bay) and listening to classical music! It's a lifetime experience.

Day 10: We'll start the morning in Fira, where you can do everything from shopping and riding a donkey to drinking donkey beer! From there, I'll take you to a boutique vineyard and winery, where we'll walk through the vineyard to see the famous basket-shaped vines followed by a wine tasting where you'll experience the uniqueness of Santorini wines, with extraordinary taste and notes influenced by the volcanic soil and terrain, accompanied by a farm-to-table lunch of traditional Santorini dishes.

After lunch, we'll head to my favorite place on the island, Ammoudi Bay, for an afternoon swim in the cove, followed by drinks and dinner at my favorite sea side taverna. And when I say seaside, I mean your table is right on the water's edge. You'll see and experience some of the freshest seafood on the island, from charcoal roasted Octopus to a giant-sized Lobster Pasta. This is one of those nights you never want the sun to go down!

Day 11: For your last day in Santorini, I'll take you around the island to the famed black and red beaches where you'll have time to explore the casual beach town of Kamari followed by taking in the most beautiful sunset and breathtaking views of red beach, a secluded beach carved out of red volcanic rock. You will also unwind at my favorite beach club on Santorini, Eros Beach, carved out of the volcanic cliffs of Vlychada. You'll have your very own private cabana on the beach, you'll swim in crystal clear waters, and you'll enjoy lunch and Prosecco served in your cabana.

Covid-19
Travel Restrictions and Required Testing

To enter Greece, travelers must be either vaccinated, have antibodies or present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival to Greece.​​

A negative rapid antigen test is required prior to your return flight to the US.

The cost of all required testing is not included and is at individual expense.
Terms & Conditions
All rates are per person based on double occupancy.
Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email and Welcome Kit from Euro Trotter Travel Experiences.
A refundable deposit of $30% per person ($1,650) is required to complete your reservation.
You are accepting this Travel Agreement upon making the deposit and completing your reservation.
Cancellations before June 4 will receive a full refund of your deposit less a $100 processing fee per person.
The remaining unpaid balance is due on or before April 17, 2022.
If you need to cancel your reservation after April 17, 2022, your trip is considered non-refundable and you will be required to pay the remaining unpaid balance owed.
If your trip is cancelled by Euro Trotter Travel Experiences for any unforeseen reason, you will receive a 100% refund.
The featured properties may be subject to change. If that is the case, a similar or better property will be utilized for the trip.
International flights are not included. Euro Trotter Travel Experiences may not be held responsible for any non-refundable ticket costs and fees for changes or cancellations in airfare.
All scheduled activities and excursions are optional in attendance.
